AV-over-IP Comparison
In this section, we explore the progression of Lightware’s AV-over-IP technologies. The 1G GVN system offers a flexible and scalable solution for standard AV-over-IP deployments, commonly used in corporate and educational settings. The 10G TPN platform delivers higher bandwidth and supports lightly compressed 4K video, making it suitable for more demanding environments such as control rooms. At the high end, the 20G UBEX system provides uncompressed 4K60 4:4:4 video with ultra-low latency and full redundancy, supporting seamless switching and advanced video wall capabilities, ideal for broadcast, live events, and high-performance AV applications.
Traditional AV Extenders Comparison
This demo presents a comprehensive look at Lightware’s range of traditional AV extenders. It begins with TPS, a reliable and cost-effective solution for transmitting HDMI, RS-232, and IR signals over a single CATx cable using HDBaseT technology. TPX builds on this with higher bandwidth and longer transmission distances, making it suitable for 4K60 4:4:4 video. For fiber-based solutions, OPTJ offers long-distance transmission over a single optical fiber, ideal for secure and interference-free environments, while OPTC can transmit HDMI 2.0 signals with 18Gbps over one multimode fiber up to a distance of 700 meters. This comparison helps visitors understand the evolution and application-specific strengths of each extender type.
Meeting Room Demo
This setup features the Taurus UCX-4x3-TPX-TX20 and Taurus UCX-3x3-TPX-RX20 bundle, which utilize Lightware’s TPX technology to deliver uncompressed 4K video over distances up to 100 meters, using CAT6A cables. With the help of Lightware’s Advanced Room Automation (LARA), the system is designed to provide seamless room extension and to integrate room automation capabilities like centralized control of lighting, operating occupancy sensors, motorized curtains, and displays. We’re also introducing the latest USB-C cable management tool the C-PopUp, which provides a clean and efficient solution for modern connectivity needs, supporting video, data, and charging through a single cable.
