“Lightware Has a Taurus for That” - USB-C Connectivity for Every Room Scenario
From huddle rooms to large conference spaces, Lightware’s Taurus UCX, TPX, and TPN devices simplify the meeting experience in BYOD and BYOM setups with seamless video, audio, data, Ethernet, and charging through a single USB-C cable.
Beyond these three core lineups of the Taurus product family, each dedicated to a different room scenario, we will also showcase our latest innovations that elevate the features and capabilities of the Taurus platform.
The Latest (and Coolest) Members of the Taurus Family
After its successful debut at ISE 2025, the new Taurus UCX-1x1-C40 Smart Dock will be on display at Infocomm, demonstrating its capabilities as a professional dock with room automation, monitoring, and control – offering seamless compatibility with Windows, iOS and Android devices.
Another innovation this year from Lightware is the new rack-mount Taurus TPX transmitter. Our engineers have listened to the market’s demand, and created a redefined version of the Taurus TPX, Lightware’s USB extension solution. By placing all input and output ports on the back of the product the device can easily be installed in a standard rack, and the introduction of an internal power supply and PoE to a connected touch panel help to further streamline system designs. Under the hood, the Taurus TPX bundle offers all the capabilities as its compact-sized predecessors, overcoming the limitations imposed by the USB and HDMI cables and allows for the extension of video, audio, and control signals in one direction and the USB 2.0 data in the other, up to a transmission distance of 100m.
Beyond these latest iterations, the recently released Taurus UCX-4x3-HCM40 will also be showcased, enabling the world’s first dual-screen extended desktop over USB-C, supporting 100W charging, USB3 peripherals, and 4K60 resolution—even overcoming Mac M1/M2/M3 limitations.
Taurus TPN – UC-over-IP Redefined
Combining the power of USB-C and AV-over-IP, Taurus TPN introduces host switching and USB extension across 10G Ethernet networks using SDVoE technology. Perfect for flexible meeting rooms and enterprise environments, this solution allows high-bandwidth video and USB signal management up to 100 meters.
AV-over-IP Solutions – for both 1G and 10G Networks
Visitors can also get up close with live demos of the Gemini GVN, a 1G AV-over-IP matrix with 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 video, seamless switching, and USB routing, alongside Lightware’s latest UBEX solution with redundant, latency-free, uncompressed 4K60 multistreaming over 10G networks.
Tailored Corporate & Hybrid Meeting Room Solutions
Lightware demos will showcase the seamless compatibility and integration of Lightware’s solutions with leading AV brands such as Cisco, Microsoft Teams Room, Poly, Barco, Sennheiser and more - highlighting their adaptability within modern AV ecosystems.
