This full-featured USB-C extension cable transmits USB 3.2 Gen 1x1 data, USB 2.0, DisplayPort Alternate Mode video, and up to 60W USB Power Delivery (PD). It is specifically designed to protect the connectors of Lightware’s USB-C Active Optical Cables from daily wear and tear while extending reach. Its compact connector housing easily fits displays and wall plates where bulky USB-C plugs cannot fit.
The cable operates transparently, introducing no additional tiers to either USB 2.0 or USB 3.x topologies, and seamlessly supports both 2-lane and 4-lane DP Alt Mode signals. Featuring a soft-touch TPE outer jacket and gold-plated connectors, this 1.5-meter cable delivers a premium look and feel, and is fully tested and optimized for out-of-the-box reliability with the Taurus UCX family and a wide range of source devices.
