The USB-C BOOSTER-V1B bundle extends USB-C connectivity over distances of up to 12 meters, using the included 7m long proprietary USB-C to USB-C cable on the output side and the customer’s choice of any passive Lightware USB-C to USB-C cable on the input side (5m max). It supports 4K60 video + USB 3 transmission over USB-C with a Type-C to Type-C cable.
With support for up to 100W charging, the BOOSTER can power a laptop or other connected USB-C source device while maintaining high-performance connectivity. At the same time the USB-C output provides plenty of power (15W) for any power-hungry USB peripheral. The BOOSTER’s fanless design and built-in power supply ensure completely silent operation in a compact form factor, making it particularly well suited for noise-sensitive and space-conscious environments such as meeting rooms.
For USB-C to USB-C end-to-end connections, the BOOSTER also provides USB 2.0 and USB 3.x transmission at up to 5 Gbps. Installation is quick and straightforward, with the supplied two 4 × 50 mm chipboard screws allowing the unit to be securely mounted underneath a desk or on the back of furniture within minutes. Fully tested and optimized for out-of-the-box reliability, the BOOSTER works seamlessly with Lightware Taurus and GVN product families, as well as a wide range of USB-C laptops.
