CAB-SERIAL-USB-RS232-P180 is a purpose-built USB to serial interface cable that converts USB to EIA/TIA-232 (V.28/V.24) UART signals. The complete electronics, including an RS-232 level shifter, are encapsulated inside the transparent USB-B connector, creating a clean and robust connection solution without external adapters.
The device-side termination is a 3-pole Phoenix connector (3.5 mm pitch, MC 1.5/3-ST-3.5), designed to match the serial ports of Lightware devices for quick, service-friendly installation. Tx and Rx LEDs provide immediate visual feedback of communication activity. The cable is USB powered, USB 2.0 full-speed compatible, supports baud rates up to 1 Mbaud, and includes FTDIChip-ID support for improved security. Built for professional environments, it features a 1.8 m (6 ft) 24 AWG, 6-core construction and strong ESD protection on RS-232 I/Os, with an operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C.
