In collaboration with their UK-based team, DVSI recently deployed an equivalent signage ecosystem at a corporate campus in California. Spanning two interconnected buildings, the system delivers multiple satellite TV feeds and internal signage content to displays distributed across cafés, a fitness centre, and the Client Briefing Centre (CBC).
The core of the system is Lightware’s GVN-MMU-X100 Matrix Management Unit - which handles the pixel perfect signal streaming and switching. Then the GVN AV-over-IP receivers connect over easy-toinstall fibre cables and allow each display to flexibly connect to any source. Over this, DVSI deployed its fully customer branded control:ex platform for enhanced control - allowing the user to:
- Route live satellite feeds or signage content to any of the displays
- Preview the sources in real time on the control tablet (or admin’s laptop)
- Locally & remotely schedule and control display power, audio levels and channel control.
- Deliver automated on-screen messaging based on network monitoring
The result is a robust video distribution system, easy-to-watch, easy-to-install and easy-to-manage (both on the ground and remotely - via the secure web interface). Job done!
