Lightware in 2025: Celebrating a successful year of innovation, collaboration and sustainability
We are looking back on a year defined by new advancements, strong collaboration and continued growth.
New Products Expand Lightware’s AV Solutions
In 2025, Lightware introduced almost twenty new products to its portfolio, underscoring its commitment to developing next-generation technology. At ISE 2025, the Taurus Smart Dock made its debut, introducing a powerful new tool for smooth hybrid collaboration. The Dual Screen Taurus came next, empowering users in multi-display environments with greater flexibility. The team also introduced 5K support across the MX2 matrix switchers and Taurus family and rounded off the year with the Taurus HC60 upgrade, bringing a modernised, future-ready platform to replace the HC40 range.
Enhanced Integrations with Microsoft, Cisco and NETGEAR
Alongside product innovation, Lightware also strengthened its technology ecosystem. Their Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) integration was extended to include the main Taurus universal matrix switcher variants, helping organisations build more flexible, adaptable meeting spaces. Cisco interoperability was expanded with two new options, and the company deepened its long-term partnership with NETGEAR by combining both manufacturers’ e-learning platforms, giving thousands of AV professionals easy access to shared training materials.

Investing in a Greener Future
Lightware also advanced its ESG commitments and community initiatives. The organization hosted two Girls’ Day events, ran an SDG (Sustainable Development Goals)-focused workshop, and encouraged employees to take a paid time out to support local volunteering initiatives. On the sustainability side, the company continued its transition to paper-only packaging and celebrated a major milestone as all departments moved into Lightware’s new environmentally conscious headquarters at HOP Technology Office Park.

Celebrating Industry Recognition
Lightware’s achievements were reflected by a range of industry honours, including two ISE 2025 Best of Show awards for the Taurus TPN and Gemini GVN, whilst the Taurus Smart Dock earned accolades from both Future and Commercial Integrator at InfoComm. The wider team was also recognised with the 2025 Lovable Workplace Award in Hungary - a testament to its positive and supportive work culture.
Expanding Lightware's Global Footprint
2025 has also been a year of global expansion, with the opening of two new Lightware premises: one in Hong Kong and one in Naarden, Netherlands. The Hong Kong Experience Center offers partners, customers, and consultants a place to enjoy hands-on demonstrations, real-world application setups, and advanced training opportunities, whilst the Naarden office encourages professionals in the Benelux region to learn about, train on, and collaborate with Lightware solutions. Lightware also launched its Enterprise Program, giving global organisations direct access to manufacturer expertise, extended warranties, technical support and tailored training.
This year’s achievements demonstrate Lightware’s unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of signal management technology. With new solutions, deeper alliances, and an expanding training ecosystem, we continue to set the standard for reliability, performance, and customer experience.
- says Gergely Vida, CEO at Lightware.
