Lightware and HRE Team Up for US Distribution of Live Event Technology
Combining HRE’s experience at high-profile events with Lightware’s signal management technology, the partnership brings a powerful combination to live event professionals.
We have announced that we have recently entered a US distribution partnership with High Resolution Engineering (HRE). Building on a longstanding relationship and HRE’s hands-on experience with our technology, HRE will distribute and resell our products for live event AV rental and projects in the United States.
We selected HRE for its practical experience using our products in live events and its deep understanding of the technologies surrounding them. HRE brings more than 20 years of experience with routing and switching systems, image processing, screen switching, high-resolution video and media servers.
Their team provides rental packages, system design and onsite show support for large-screen and multiscreen productions. That work gives HRE a practical view of how equipment needs to perform, from planning through show day. Our products are trusted widely and serve as the signal management backbone of live event environments for more than two decades. Our MX2 matrix switcher range gives production teams flexible control over routing video signals across a show, with HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 models supporting full 4K video at 60Hz and 4:4:4 color, with Advanced EDID Management and Pixel Accurate Reclocking. Already part of HRE’s rental offering, MX2 brings practical tools for handling complex signal paths when the show needs to run smoothly.
