Lightware and NETGEAR integrate e-learning platforms
Lightware is expanding its partnership with NETGEAR through a new agreement which integrates our e-learning platforms.
As part of the collaboration, NETGEAR will host a selection of Lightware Academy courses on its platform, whilst Lightware Academy will feature NETGEAR’s AV-over-IP courses.
Lightware Academy is an online and in-person education platform, offering on-demand videos and downloadable materials curated by our expert training team. With over 10,000 users, Lightware Academy has been helping professionals worldwide build AV skills and learn how Lightware’s products work. Three certified training levels are available, with courses covering USB-C and digital AV, room automation and AV integration and AV-over-IP.
Lightware’s signal management solutions integrate effortlessly with NETGEAR’s industry-leading AV-over-IP switches, so this partnership is a natural next step in giving our customers the knowledge they need to build and configure sophisticated systems with these technologies,” says Tibor Fejes, Head of Training at Lightware Academy. “The partnership will allow our training videos to reach more users whilst delivering a more comprehensive AV-over-IP learning experience to our existing Academy users.
As one of the first partner companies to be hosted on NETGEAR’s Academy site, Lightware is pioneering the Partner section on the Academy, strengthening our reputation as a leader in AV-over-IP solutions. Lightware’s UBEX Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 courses are already available on the NETGEAR Academy, whilst NETGEAR’s Level 1 AV-over-IP Certification is accessible via Lightware Academy, with plans to release Level 2 and Level 3 for more in-depth learning.
This cross-platform integration offers added convenience for learners, allowing them to access a broader range of training materials in one place. By sharing our expertise alongside NETGEAR, we are helping to accelerate learning for installers, integrators, and end users so that they can adopt technologies faster. As Lightware and NETGEAR products often work together, joint training ensures users understand how to maximize these combined solutions.
By combining NETGEAR’s networking expertise with Lightware’s signal management innovations, we’re creating a training ecosystem that mirrors the needs of real-world installations,” adds Fejes. “This collaboration ensures that integrators and end-users not only understand each product individually, but also how to maximize their performance when used together in a complete AV-over-IP infrastructure.
Building on the e-learning partnership, we at Lightware together with NETGEAR will be hosting a joint webinar this autumn, with guest speakers and discussions about benefits of the wider business partnership on customers.
For those eager to learn more, the webinar will also serve as an exclusive invitation to a dedicated NETGEAR + Lightware Day at Lightware’s Dusseldorf Training Center. This in-person event will feature expert trainers from both companies alongside hands-on demonstrations of NETGEAR’s networking solutions and Lightware’s AV-over-IP products, further strengthening the partnership’s commitment to innovation and customer success.
