Video performance and compatibility

The HDMI-TPX-RX106‑V2 provides reliable HDMI 2.0 signal extension for professional AV applications, supporting video resolutions up to UHD/4K@60Hz 4:4:4 with 18 Gbps bandwidth and a maximum pixel clock of 600 MHz. The device is compatible with HDMI 2.0, HDMI 1.x and DVI signals, and supports HDCP 1.x and HDCP 2.3.

Control interfaces and connections

For control and user data, it offers a 1000Base‑T RJ‑45 Ethernet interface and an RS‑232 connection on a 3‑pole Phoenix connector with 4800–115200 baud rates (default 9600, 8, N, 1). Video output is provided on an HDMI Type A connector (with screw locking option).

Powering

Power can be supplied by an external 12V DC / 2A (16 W) adapter or via PoC remote powering, with a maximum consumption of 16 W.

V2 hardware updates

This V2 model is not a new extender generation; it is a hardware platform update that keeps the device’s core functionality and system role unchanged. The V2 version combines the previous multiple status indicators into one dedicated Status LED for simpler operation and improved user experience, and it features an updated housing design with an approximate depth of 151 mm (around 20 mm deeper than the previous version). Minor connector layout adjustments may also be present; for RX106‑V2 this primarily affects the physical placement of the HDMI output connector, so mechanical fit and connector clearance should be verified when replacing earlier units in existing installations. The IR output connector is not included on the V2 model in line with the streamlined V2 hardware platform design.
