Lightware Highlights Scalable USB-C and AV-over-IP Innovation at InfoComm 2026
Lightware returns to InfoComm 2026 with a focused showcase of scalable USB-C connectivity, next-generation AV-over-IP solutions, and technologies that help overcome common challenges of UC codecs in BYOD applications.
Reliable USB-C Solutions Designed for Every Budget and Application
Recognizing that not every project requires a full-featured system, we have expanded our USB-C portfolio to address a wide range of functionality needs and budget considerations.
This ecosystem includes solutions such as the USB-C Booster as a more versatile alternative to extension via AOC, the Taurus DCX for more cost-effective, simplified video switching applications, and the Taurus Smart Dock for compact, managed UC environments. At the high end, the Taurus UCX platform delivers advanced switching, peripheral control, and full BYOD capabilities.
In addition to these latest innovations, we will also showcase our flagship Taurus product family, highlighting solutions from USB extension with TPX variants to advanced capabilities such as dual-screen extended desktop.
Enhancing Unified Communications Experiences
With the addition of Google Meet integration, we continue to expand our Unified Communications (UC) capabilities, complementing existing solutions for Microsoft Teams and Cisco Webex. This latest development further strengthens our ability to deliver flexible, platform-agnostic solutions for modern meeting environments.
Live demonstrations at the booth will showcase how we enhance UC workflows through reliable content sharing, automatic call detection and status monitoring, seamless device switching in BYOD scenarios, and centralized system oversight - helping organizations create more efficient, user-friendly, and easier-to-maintain collaboration spaces.
Expanding AV-over-IP Capabilities Across Network Infrastructures
A key highlight at this year’s show is our continued expansion in AV-over-IP technologies, with solutions designed for both 1G and 10G network infrastructures.
The award-winning Gemini GVN platform, Lightware’s 1G AV-over-IP product family, delivers high-quality 4K60 video, USB 2.0 extension, and seamless switching - now further enhanced with Dante-enabled variants and a newly introduced, GVN MMU (Management and Monitoring Unit) for centralized configuration and control.
The latest addition to the GVN family introduces USB-C input capabilities, enabling direct connection of modern devices while maintaining signal integrity and simplifying system design.
Complementing this, the Taurus TPN solution brings USB-C and AV-over-IP together over 10G networks, enabling host switching and signal extension across larger environments. At InfoComm 2026, we will showcase TPN in a divisible room scenario, demonstrating how multiple endpoints across different spaces can be centrally managed via an MMU - highlighting scalable system design and operational flexibility.
Lightware Plus - Software Tools That Simplify Deployment and Operation
Complementing its hardware solutions, we will showcase our suite of software tools designed to streamline system setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore and interact with Lightware Device Controller (LDC), USBXpert, and LARA Wizard in live, hands-on demo environments.
These tools provide intuitive configuration, real-time diagnostics, USB tier-monitoring, and deeper system visibility - helping integrators reduce deployment time and maintain system performance more efficiently.
Lightware USB Masterclass & Pro Training Sessions
Beyond showcasing our latest solutions, we will also deliver insightful Pro Training sessions during the show, designed to help AV professionals deepen their knowledge in USB connectivity while also allowing to earn AVIXA CTS RU credits. Our USB Masterclass will take place on Thursday, June 18th from 1pm to 2pm and registration is available during the sign-up process for Infocomm 2026, under session code PT44.
