With its visual crosspoint interface, users can easily pair devices and adjust system layout. The built-in REST API enables intuitive crosspoint control and status monitoring, helping seamless third-party integration. For streamlined deployments, the software supports exporting and importing configurations via editable JSON files—ideal for replicating setups or restoring earlier states.

This PC – USB Diagnostics
The Configurator includes a dedicated diagnostics tab that provides professional-grade insight into the USB environment of the host PC. It displays the full USB topology in a clear, color-coded tree view by speed tier, shows live hotplug events, and lists detailed device information such as name, driver, bandwidth and tier. Diagnostic sessions can be saved and reloaded for later analysis, and the feature works independently from Lightware hardware, making it ideal for troubleshooting and pre-deployment checks.
Automatic Update Notifications
The application automatically notifies users when a new version of the Configurator is available. This ensures that the software always remains up to date with the latest functionality, improvements, and stability fixes, without requiring manual checks.
