Lightware Extenders Now Available with Dante Audio Support

Lightware has introduced new Dante-enabled variants to its HDMI-TPX and HDMI-TPN product lines, adding audio support to a range of existing SDVoE-based extenders.

With this update, our new HDMI TPX and TPN extender variants now have the ability to output 2-channel Dante® audio streams de-embedded from the HDMI signal. This addition provides an attractive solution for corporate and education environments, where Dante®-based audio systems have already become a widely adopted standard.

It’s important to note that dedicated Ethernet ports are available for Dante® audio output on both the transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) sides. However, embedding audio from a Dante® source into the HDMI stream is not supported.

This update offers a straightforward way for AV professionals to carry both high-quality video and Dante® audio within the same infrastructure, simplifying system design and deployment in enterprise, education, and live event applications.

HDMI-TPX Series

HDMI-TPX-TX107D

The HDMI-TPX-TX107D and HDMI-TPX-RX107D extenders with AVX technology are Lightware’s newest development and a natural progression from the widely popular HDMI-TPS-TX/RX97 series, allowing users to extend HDMI 2.0 signals up to 4K60 4:4:4 video resolution through a single CATx cable over distances up to 100 meters.

HDMI-TPX-RX107D

The HDMI-TPX-TX107D and HDMI-TPX-RX107D extenders with AVX technology are Lightware’s newest development and a natural progression from the widely popular HDMI-TPS-TX/RX97 series, allowing users to extend HDMI 2.0 signals up to 4K60 4:4:4 video resolution through a single CATx cable over distances up to 100 meters.

The HDMI-TPX-TX209DU2K and HDMI-TPX-RX109DU2K transmitter and receiver devices with Dante audio are based on SDVoE technology and allow users to extend HDMI 2.0 compliant video, audio and control signals from a single source to a single destination when they are directly connected. Moreover, these USB2.0 capable extenders also allow transparent and composite USB2.0 transmission in the opposite direction.

The HDMI-TPX-TX209DU2K and HDMI-TPX-RX109DU2K transmitter and receiver devices with Dante audio are based on SDVoE technology and allow users to extend HDMI 2.0 compliant video, audio and control signals from a single source to a single destination when they are directly connected. Moreover, these USB2.0 capable extenders also allow transparent and composite USB2.0 transmission in the opposite direction.

HDMI-TPN-RX107D-SR

The HDMI-TPN-RX107D-SR scaling receiver is based on the SDVoE technology and allows users to receive HDMI 2.0 compliant video, audio and control signals through 10G Ethernet networks. Depending on the HDCP settings and the resolution of the various sources, the receiver can support seamless and fast switching between those sources by rescaling the video either to the resolution described by the EDID of the connected display, or to a custom resolution.

HDMI-TPN-RX107DU2K-SR

The HDMI-TPN-RX107DU2K-SR scaling receiver device with Dante audio is based on SDVoE technology. When installed in a networked environment with corresponding TPN transmitters or SDVoE-compatible third-party TX units, the HDMI-TPN-RX107DU2K-SR allows users to receive HDMI 2.0 compliant video, audio and control signals from compatible transmitters through 10G Ethernet networks. Moreover, this USB2.0 capable extender also allows transparent and composite USB2.0 transmission in the opposite direction.

The HDMI-TPN-TX207DU2K scaling receiver device with Dante audio is based on SDVoE technology. When installed in a networked environment with corresponding TPN transmitters or SDVoE-compatible third-party TX units, the HDMI-TPN-TX207DU2K allows users to receive HDMI 2.0 compliant video, audio and control signals from compatible transmitters through 10G Ethernet networks. Moreover, this USB2.0 capable extender also allows transparent and composite USB2.0 transmission in the opposite direction.
