Extend 4K HDMI signals over 10G networks
The HDMI-TPN-TX107‑V2 is built on SDVoE technology to transmit HDMI 2.0 video up to 4096×2048@60Hz (4:4:4) and 3840×2160@60Hz (4:4:4) with zero-frame video delay, while supporting HDMI 2.0 embedded audio formats including multi-channel PCM, Dolby True-HD, and DTS-HD Master Audio.
Connectivity and control channels
Beyond video and audio transport, the device supports integration-friendly connectivity, including a user Ethernet channel and the ability to carry control such as RS‑232 for end-to-end system control in AV-over-IP environments.
EDID and content protection
HDCP 2.3 support and EDID functionality (including EDID emulation with a default EDID and one locally stored EDID) help ensure consistent interoperability with sources and displays across a wide range of deployments.
Powering
The unit supports powering via power adaptor or PoE (receiving power via the TPN output, IEEE 802.3af) with a maximum power consumption of 8.1 W.
Compatibility and ecosystem integration
When used in direct point-to-point mode, the transmitter and receiver are compatible with Lightware’s TPX family of products. Within a TPN-based system, the device can operate as part of a unified SDVoE ecosystem, where Taurus TPN, HDMI-TPN, and OPTN endpoints can be managed together by the Matrix Management Unit (MMU) for centralized configuration and consistent operation across mixed endpoint types.
V2 hardware updates
This V2 model is not a new extender generation; it is a hardware platform update that keeps the device’s core functionality and system role unchanged. The V2 version combines the previous multiple status indicators into one dedicated Status LED for simpler operation and improved user experience, and it features an updated housing design with an approximate depth of 151 mm. Minor connector layout adjustments may also be present (primarily around the HDMI input-side panel layout), so mechanical fit and connector clearance should be verified when replacing earlier units in existing installations. The IR output connector is not included on the V2 model in line with the streamlined V2 hardware platform design.
